Bloom have been shortlisted for the ‘Best Small Company Award’ at the Best Places to Work awards 2019.
The Journal & Chronicle Live’s Best Places to Work campaign sets out to find the regions employers who recruit the best talent and help make the North East a stand out region to work in.
The judges will rank nominees on criteria such as, how they look after staff health, the role the organisation plays in the community, perks, benefits and bonuses and the work life balance they offer.
It is further recognition of our continued growth in the past year. Our head count has more than doubled from 30 employees to over 65, with further new starters still to come. In 2019 turnover will top £165 million, compared to £92 million in 2018.
Our rapid growth was acknowledged at the Northumberland & Tyneside North East Business awards where we won the ‘Let’s Grow’ category. As well as being nominated for ‘North East Scale Up Business of the Year’ at the Federation of Small Business Awards 2019.
Being shortlisted at the Best Places to Work awards further evidences our organisations continued growth.
The winner will be announced on 13th June. Good luck to the other nominees.
