Bloom Founder and Entrepreneur Adam spent much of his career developing and leading organisations across both the private and public sector. With a passion for developing innovative solutions to overcome the challenges faced by procurement professionals, Adam built a wealth of experience and expertise within procurement and business transformation.
In 2012, Adam established Bloom Procurement Services. The company was born out of his desire to provide a best-in-class procurement solution which enabled the delivery of outcomes, whilst reducing the time and cost associated with professional services procurement. As a Fellow at The Royal Society for Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce, Adam is passionate about social value and innovation and continually seeks to promote and embed outcomes-based thinking that delivers positive change for all.
Amabel is CEO of the V4 UK Holdings Group. She joined the business in 2018 as CTO of Bloom, bringing with her a wealth of experience in both the public and private sectors. Her previous experience includes roles with the Office of Government Commerce, where she established the first pan public sector marketplace, as well as the Olympic Delivery Authority, where she implemented the sourcing platform through which the infrastructure and fit-out contracts for the London 2012 Olympics were procured.
She also held senior positions at Crown Commercial Services as Crown Marketplace Programme Director and Procserve as COO, where she built the public sector SAAS marketplace to more than £3bn of transactions.
Diane joined the V4 UK Holdings Group in 2018 as Non-Exec Director after holding a number of senior roles in both the public and private sector. A qualified banker, whose executive career spanned global C-suite positions in businesses operating at different levels of maturity and growth, Diane moved into the Chairman position in 2021 following investment from BGF.
In addition to chairing V4, Diane chairs a number of PE-backed businesses with a particular focus on customer centric disrupters, high quality, high growth and tech or tech-enabled businesses. Her portfolio spans traditional FM to Marketplace and SaaS serving both the public and private sectors. In 2020, Diane won the IoD NED of the Year North East and Yorkshire Award.
Barry joined BGF in 2013 and is based out of Leeds, covering the Yorkshire & North East region. His main role is to originate, execute and deliver new investment opportunities whilst retaining involvement through board interaction with his previous investments. Prior to joining BGF, Barry spent 11 years at Deloitte in Leeds, including 8 years in the Corporate Finance Advisory team.
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and also holds a degree in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics (MORSE) from the University of Warwick. As well as the various non-executive board positions that Barry currently holds, notable deals he has led include BGF’s £10m investment in Chemoxy in 2015 (exited to Novacap SAS in 2017) and also BGF’s £5m investment in Arcinova in 2018 (exited to Quotient Sciences in 2021).
Sam is the CFO of the V4 UK Holdings Group. He joined the business in July 2021 and has been appointed to the Board of both the holdings company and Bloom Procurement Services Limited.
Sam is a Fellow with the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants and having spent a decade in accounting practice obtaining a wide variety of commercial experience, he moved into the industry and has held senior leadership positions within growing technology businesses ever since. His previous experience includes Craneware Plc a B2B SaaS specialist and working on digital engagement and data strategy as CFO of QikServe Ltd.
Consequently, Sam brings enormous experience in working with product and engineering teams looking to innovate and elegantly scale market opportunities, while always ensuring the customer experience is of the highest priority.
