Bloom partnered with STAR Procurement to deliver an exclusive supplier event at Trafford Town Hall, Manchester, to raise awareness amongst local businesses about public sector tendering opportunities with Rochdale, Stockport, Tameside and Trafford councils.
Bloom are committed to opening up procurement across the North West, working with suppliers to help them win work both inside and outside of the region across 19 different categories of professional services spend. We are the exclusive operator of the NEPRO professional services framework on behalf of NEPO.
The framework was set up to help the public sector buy and manage professional services spend whilst achieving better outcomes and improving value. Specialising in bringing together buyers and suppliers, we have over 6,000 suppliers registered allowing them access to opportunities across 300 public sector organisations. We have already completed 3,000 projects across the public sector including local authorities, hospitals, emergency services and education bodies.
Richard Beattie, COO at Bloom Procurement Services, said: “We had a fantastic turnout at the event and it was a great opportunity for local businesses to learn more about the benefits of joining an ever-growing community of buyers and suppliers, connected through the NEPRO neutral vendor solution.”
Public sector contracts are of huge benefit to business in the North West and as such we are delighted to partner with Star Procurement, who deliver procurement services to Stockport, Trafford, Tameside and Rochdale councils. STAR Procurement are a natural strategic partner to facilitate growth in the local economy.
Robyn Gwilym, Category Manager at STAR Procurement, added “It was nice to have a full house! It was also a great opportunity to network with a wide variety of suppliers and understand their experiences within public sector procurement”
